The Left keeps making it sound* as if all immigrants and children of immigrants** are in favor of illegals (the ones who sneak in and try to cut in the immigration process line). Nothing could be further from the truth. Sorry, our loyalty is only to our new nation and not to our previous ones. That includes its Law.
Sanctuary cities are illegal, unethical and are used by the drug cartels as distribution hubs for drugs, illegal weapons and child trafficking. Any US state or municipal jurisdiction that defies the Law should suffer the consequences, both financially and criminally.
* And they keep using loudmouths like Jorge Ramos and others with divided loyalties to sell their deceptive message to the rest of us Hispanics. They keep trying to confuse what is a right and what is a revocable privilege. No foreign national ever had a right to remain in a host country. That is a privilege, and one that is solely at the discretion of the host country.

So true. It's NOT about all immigrants. Not "even" all immigrants from the very same countries illegals come from. If you come here legally from the very same countries, then I'm happy to see you. I didn't bust my ass studying Spanish for nothing!
The biggest problem is the system we have that outright incentivizes people to come here illegally and (ironically) results in illegals themselves being put at risk through dangerous people smuggling and human trafficking tactics. The poor people the Left claims to care about are dying and suffering because of this too, and the solution is not catch-and-release. It's securing the border and getting rid of the incentives that make people think it might be worth the risk.
